This workshop is designed for lower-income DC residents who are not lawyers (although lawyers are welcome to attend, too) and need a basic, fundamental understanding of criminal record sealing laws in the District (we will briefly touch on Virginia and Maryland laws as well).
We will cover topics including:

CLADC Guardianship and Conservatorship Of An Adult Workshop 101 For District of Columbia Residents

This workshop is designed for DC residents who are not lawyers (although, lawyers with no knowledge may benefit from attending); may fall into the low income category; need a basic understanding of the legal and administrative processes for the guardianship and conservatorship of an adult; and/or may be facing a need to petition the court for guardianship and/or conservatorship of an adult family member or loved one.
We will cover topics including:

How a person may come to be involved in the Guardianship/Conservatorship process.

The different roles of people in the process voluntarily, by order of the Court, and under the law.
