CLIENTS
While our experience or expertise varies across our volunteer pool and from clinic-to-clinic, we are generally able to offer information, referral services, legal advice and occasional representation (depending on availability and resources) for the types of matters listed below. To get help from CLADC, you must first register for one of our legal clinics or speak with a CLADC representative, who will verify your eligibility, which typically involves confirming your income level and clearing conflicts checks.

You are eligible for a free consultation with a pro bono attorney if (1) you reside, or have a legal matter, in the District of Columbia; (2) your income does not exceed HUD’s Low (80%) Income Limits (which, for a one-person household, is $54,350 for 2019–20); (3) your legal matter falls within one of the practice areas listed below:
